To recruit mentors to our program, feel free to use this template as a start (you have full creative liberties):

I hope this message finds you well. My name is _______, and I’m a ______-year medical student at ________ and I am currently serving as a school lead for the Canadian Muslim Women in Medicine (CMWIM) Mentorship Network.

Our initiative connects Muslim women physicians and trainees across Canada to foster mentorship, professional growth, and community. Each mentor is paired with one or two mentees, typically medical students, with full flexibility on meeting format and frequency. Most mentors connect with their mentees two to three times per year (virtually or in person), though the level of involvement is entirely up to you. We are looking to launch this mentorship initiative in January inshaAllah.

We would be honoured to have you join our network as a mentor. Your presence would be valuable to our members navigating their early career paths and identity within medicine.
